The National Weather Service (NWS) has issued a winter weather advisory for the City of Peru, and projects a snowfall of between 2-4 inches. Out of an abundance of caution, pursuant to Ordinance No. 2025-01, the Mayor is declaring a snow emergency beginning at 12:00am on Saturday, January 24th, 2026.
