CLEANING OF CITY HALL OFFICES

BID NOTICE

CITY OF PERU, NEBRASKA

 

Notice is hereby given that sealed bids will be received by the City of Peru, Nebraska, until Wednesday, the 10th of December, 2025 at 3:00 P.M., Central Standard Time, when the same will be open and read by the City Clerk in the Community Room, Peru City Hall, 614 5th Street, Peru, Nebraska 68421. 

 

The work to be performed under this contract generally consist of (but not limited to):

General: weekly cleaning of the restrooms - wiping down of all surfaces (toilet, sink, urinal, mirrors, shelves), basic mopping of floors, restock of supplies. Kitchen – wipe down all surfaces (counter, backsplash, outside of fridge, and microwave), scour sink, clean dishes and mop floor. Dustmop the community room and hall way. Vacuum all carpet. Monthly task would be the moping of the community room and hallway, cleaning the display glass in community room and hall way, cleaning the windows (both inside and out) and the glass front door.  Deep scrub the restroom floors and fixtures, de-cobweb the ceilings artwork, tops of doors and the like.  Cleaning products will be supplied. Wipe out the fridge and microwave. 

This service has to be completed during the hours City Hall is open which is M-F, 8 A.M. to 4 P.M.       

 

All bids must be enclosed in a sealed envelope bearing the name and address of the bidder and the name of the project clearly marked “Cleaning of City Hall” and delivered to the City of Peru, Nebraska, 614 5th Street, Peru, NE 68421.

 

This bid is being solicited through a fair and open process in accordance with Neb. Rev. Stat. §73-101. Bidders are required to comply with the requirements of Nebraska Fair Employment Practice Act (FEPA), Neb. Rev. Stat.  §48-1101 et seq., Neb. Rev. Stat.    §§81-1355 through 81-1368, and Neb. State Const. Art. 1-30 Affirmative Action requirement of the State of Nebraska. 

 

The Peru City Council reserves the right to reject any or all proposals in whole or in part and to waive such informalities as may be permitted by law.
